He goes back in to work in just a few hours...Momisodeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06752015177628948631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7593290192293739137.post-19146252703457582532008-07-27T08:57:00.000+08:002008-07-27T08:57:00.000+08:00I feel the same way about my "housework" too thoug...I feel the same way about my "housework" too though. Sometimes people get so caught up with cleaning their houses all the time that they look and suddenly their kids are grown. Hey, my house might be a little messy, but I'm enjoying my kids.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01979925607834752536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7593290192293739137.post-61995122925895385132008-07-26T22:53:00.000+08:002008-07-26T22:53:00.000+08:00This is so true. We should make it a point to spent quality time with the people we love.Heart of Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07542152478039483575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7593290192293739137.post-48449455849433469252008-07-26T22:22:00.000+08:002008-07-26T22:22:00.000+08:00Good post...You're right, of course. If you keel over and die at work, they will replace you and that's it.

I know this: when I started working after college, I was one of those people that worked all the time but it was, I now realize, of the expectation placed on me at work, my starting off with a wife and a child underway and the fear of losing my job; trying to impress the boss at work, etc... I now know better. Yes, you have to do well at work, but nothing replaces the time you spent away from your family and it all goes by so fast. I try to make as much time for my kids as I can and won't take time away from them to do overtime work if I can help. Thankfully, I can help it right now, but it wasn't always the case.

Thank you for your blog, btw. I love how you write down your thoughts so well.Sweet and Saltyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04468737566372826655noreply@blogger.com
