For Some Reason

2 years ago, I started this blog. For many reasons -- I thought it was an awesome way of keeping a diary and an even "awesomer" way of meeting great people on line. And I have. And I am thankful that I have developed special ties with some people who even if I have never met in real life, seem like I have known them forever. I have shared my life on this blog and you all have shared your lives with me too. And I am grateful.

Lately though, a number of people I have come to love seem to have grown distant for reasons I don't know. Some have decided to go private with their blogs, some have chosen to suddenly remain silent and some may have completely lost interest. And I do wonder why. At times I think if I'm the problem? I try to think of possible reasons why they decided to do such, was it because of me? What pushed them to suddenly be such?

Maybe they've outgrown it? Maybe they got tired?

I may never get the answers. It will forever remain unsolved. But to all of you who have remained true, please just know I that I am thankful and I'm glad we met.

Hi Louann. I love how blogging has gained me friendships across the globe. I have been blessed to meet some bloggers in person. I'm grateful for every wonderful person I meet in the blogosphere. I'm happy to have crossed paths with you. Hoping to get to know you more. Take care.

I think there is a life cycle for blogs. Sometimes people start them and lose interest quickly or life gets too busy to blog.

I'm sure it's nothing you did or didn't do!

Hey Louann, I know what you mean. It's probably nothing to do with you. Some people have the attention of a gnat. Some people likes to start over. Many, many times. If you know how many blogs I have gone through, I'm one of these people.

Some have grown lazy...have only enough energy to post then nothing.

You are an inspiration to me. You're here, you're posting, and I'd like to think that we've become friends.

Photo blogs here because I thought I'd try it.

Hi, louann!

I just drop to say that you have an interesting blog.

As to your post, I guess it's a cycle.

Hey, Louann!
I blogged about blogging too recently! I love how I've "met" so many wonderful people in the blog world. I'm so glad I've crossed paths with you! :)

I think that sometimes people just get so bogged down with "stuff" that's going on in their lives or sometimes we get into slumps where we don't feel like blogging. I sometimes get that way. I'll go silent for a week or two and then the following week I'd post every single day!

For those who have been quiet or who have stopped blogging for a while, I'm sure it has nothing to do with you :) XOXO

Hey, I had a few friends who did that too...some had problems with hacking (meaning their blogs were stolen from them), others well they went on with their life outside of bloggerville.

Never think it's because of you, we all have reasons...mine was having my net down! haha

Have a great weekend!

I hear you. It seems as if this is the way of the blogosphere. The same thing happens as well with my blog, and I miss the relationships that were once there.

*hugs*

Woooo! I just popped in to check on you since I haven't gotten any updates on my Google Reader for awhile. I then see that you changed the name of your blog and that is why I haven't gotten any updated or new blog post. I promise that I haven't forgotten about you. (((HUGS))) And I am going to add this new feed to my Google Reader.

Now a BABY!!! I have been out of the loop for to long! I have to go and read about this. :o) I hope all is going well. I will be praying for you and your pregnancy.
